Veteran Programs

About us: We collect donated goods in the area of overstock and resell these to generate funds for our Veteran and Community Projects.  

 

     We do special community projects on an individual basis but our main special programs focus on honoring our military veterans.  Our projects support the Illinois Veterans Homes special events as well as sponsoring veterans to participate in the Honor Flight Program where veterans are honored for their service. 

 

     Our first year (2021/2022), we created “Flat Christmas Trees” LED lightweight wall mounted Christmas trees for every resident’s room on one floor of the IL Veterans Home in Quincy, IL.  Future years will expand this initiative for other residents- disabled veterans, many who aren’t very mobile, and can enjoy their own, space saving, energy efficient bit of holiday cheer.

     We provide special events throughout the year for the veterans and staff.
